QLD:Strong demand for Qld Year 7 pilot scheme
The Queensland government has received three times the number of applications needed
for a pilot program that will move Year 7 classes into the state's secondary schools.
The government announced in June that it would move Year 7 to high schools by 2015.
Twenty schools were needed for a trial in 2013, but Premier Anna Bligh says 59 schools applied.
The successful participants will be announced later this year.
